Incentive Cruises
Travel
back in time to a land where Ice Age giants dominate the landscape, where
whales, moose, bear and eagles roam free.
Sail
through Seattle's beautiful Puget Sound and the Strait of Juan de Fuca on
your way to Alaska's forested isles, icy-blue glaciers and charming
frontier ports. Choose the Glacier Bay route and watch in wonder as
whales, puffins and the park's tidewater glaciers come into view. Navigate
intimate Tracy Arm to the twin faces of the Sawyer Glaciers or cruise to
Wrangell-St. Elias, North America's largest national park and a UNESCO
World Heritage Site, and experience the colossal Hubbard Glacier and St.
Elias Mountain Range. .
Glacier Bay National
Park, Marvel at nature's unrelenting power
as you witness the birth of massive icebergs calving from gigantic
glaciers. Glacier Bay National Park has more actively calving tidewater
glaciers than anywhere else on earth. As a Biosphere Reserve and World
Heritage Site, Glacier Bay National Park also protects a unique ecosystem
of plants and animals. Search for humpback and killer whales, Stellar sea
lions
and harbor seals, moose and bald eagles.
Hubbard Glacier,
North America's largest glacier, this Ice Age titan measures 5 miles in
width and a staggering 40 stories in height where it meets saltwater at
Disenchantment Bay. As you glide along this surreal blue marvel, watch for
seals basking on ice floes, listen for the loud deep rumble and mighty
crack of calving icebergs and take in the dazzling St. Elias Mountain
Range, a 150-mile-long chain of snowcapped peaks piercing the horizon. A
Park Ranger and a Tlingit Native speaker will join the ship for the
glacier viewing.
